'Careers' are interesting things. I have always found them entirely baffling. I'm pretty awesome at dishing out career advice, and conversely absolutely hopeless at doing it myself. I try to enjoy the here and now and get satisfaction out of what I do. I hate that question “What do you see yourself doing in 5 years?” as I really have to bite my tongue for the first answer I'd give – still breathing, in Vegas, trying to spend my billions.

Still. I popped off an email today to someone I know who works elsewhere. Not a long email. Just a simple question. It'll be interesting to see if anything comes of it.
