I’ve been unable to get back into the habit of blogging. I spend all day on a notebook so when I get home the last thing I want to do is sit down in front of those at home and carry on. The iPhone let’s me consume news and update Twitter, but it’s far too small to be doing too much on – I’m getting older y’know! The old eyesight isn’t what it used to be.

I bought an iPad to help organise things a little bit. I’m addicted to Moleskines but sometimes I really don’t need to be flipping back through pages for that really important note I wrote down. See? I almost have you convinced that it was a brilliant idea to fork out all that cash!

Regardless, I’m pretty blown away by how NICE it is to read news etc on the iPad. I bought an Apple case for it, which props it up at a good angle, and (now this shocks me) it’s a pleasure to type on. I’m a pretty quick ex-tech typist (two fingers and two thumbs) and it took be about four seconds to get used to it.

So I’m going to try and use it for blogging. It can sit hear with me on the sofa, is low profile, makes no noise, and the typing is good.

I’ll see if it works.

Oh, and if the photo attached to this looks awful then I’m blaming the WordPress software for the iPad – haven’t figured out how to edit photos in it for upload.
